The Vista sign frames have 2 types of end caps:

• ABS plastic (ABS - Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, a tough plastic used to make light, rigid, molded products such as piping, automotive parts, golf club heads and so on).
• Metal end caps (aluminum).

The plastic end caps cover the sizes up to 12" and signs larger than that can be ordered only with metal end caps. The metal end caps add a clean, elegant look to the sign but are more expensive. Here are the two types side by side:

As can be seen from the pictures above, both types have vandal resistant hexagon screws (click here to enlarge).

The plastic end caps have gray and black finishes and the metal end caps can be ordered in brushed aluminum, black or gold finishes.
